Surgeon's Expert Approach
Two principles guided the surgical plan: lift the deeper structures vertically, and rebuild the neck angle beneath.
- Vertical ligament release: Working beneath the SMAS, we released the retaining ligaments and lifted the cheek fat pads vertically to restore the triangle of youth, volumizing the mid-face without fillers or implants.
- platysmaplasty for the neck: We tightened the neck muscles and redraped the skin to rebuild a clean angle and clear the early banding.
