This 29-year-old international patient came to us with a clearly defined goal: a narrower waist and a rounder, natural projection that suited a lean, athletic frame. She wanted to use her own midsection fat rather than implants, a preference Canadian patients increasingly share. We planned a fat-transfer BBL built on a circumferential harvest.
Surgeon's Expert Approach
We approached this BBL with three goals: narrow the waist, harvest enough viable fat, and place it for a natural, proportional projection.
- targeted lipo treatment as a Lipo 360: We harvested fat from the abdomen, flanks, and lower back, which both supplied the graft and sculpted the waistline that frames the result.
- Structural fat grafting: Purified fat was layered into controlled planes to add projection and fill the lateral hip, building a rounded curve without over-filling.
- HBOT and LLLT recovery protocol: She completed recovery with HBOT and LLLT to support graft survival, manage edema, and protect the donor zones.
