Surgeon's Expert Approach
The technical focus of this procedure was correcting asymmetry through differential implant volumes rather than a single standard size.
- Side-specific volume selection: We chose slightly different implant volumes for each breast, calculated from preoperative measurements, so both sides finished at matching projection and level.
- Coverage and anesthesia planning: Implants were placed fully beneath the pectoralis major for a smooth chest-wall transition, and because she wanted to limit systemic risk, we also reviewed an awake breast augmentation pathway during planning.
