From the UK to Turkey: How Peer-to-Peer Validation Led to "Real Confidence"
I've met with both doctors that are going to be doing my surgery and I'm really confident that I'm going to get the results that I want.
Stella's trust was not built by the clinic — it was built by another patient. Her research from the UK began on Instagram with Dr Akif's portfolio, but what moved her from interest to decision was speaking directly with Sarah, a previous UK patient whose case she had studied. Hearing the experience first-hand, patient to patient, gave her something no website can manufacture.
The clinic's job was to justify that borrowed confidence, and her account suggests it did: a dedicated patient contact managed every logistical detail of the trip, the hotel was "lovely", and — the step she valued most — she sat down with both of her surgeons in person before the operation. Her conclusion, recorded before surgery, captures the result of the whole process: "I'm really confident that I'm going to get the results that I want."”
- Procedures: Deep Plane Facelift, Neck Lift, Blepharoplasty
- Key to Trust: Peer-to-Peer Validation (Spoke with a past UK patient)
- The Experience: Smooth Logistics & Complete Pre-Operative Confidence

I had a face, neck and arm lift at AKM. I’m just over 4 weeks post and couldn’t be happier with the results. The entire experience was wonderful! My coordinator, Khadija made me feel comfortable from beginning to end! I highly recommend AKM and will definitely go back for other procedures!

I am beyond grateful I went with AKM Clinic for my deep plane face and neck lift, upper eyelid, and co2 laser. Dr. Akif has magic hands and my results are truly incredible! I came from the US and assistant Emine was the best in assuring every detail was coordinated and communicated with me beyond my expectations every step of the way. 10 out of 10 to the entire team! I couldn’t be more pleased!
