How DHI and Lipo 360 Fit Into One Surgery Day
The two procedures do not compete for the same recovery. Grafts heal on the scalp; the liposuction work happens on the abdomen, flanks and back. Because of that, the surgical team runs both in a single 9-10 hour session rather than splitting them across two trips.
- Order of the day: hairline design and graft harvesting first, while you are fresh and seated. Body contouring follows under general anaesthesia.
- Anaesthesia: local for the donor and recipient scalp areas, general for the Lipo 360 stage - which is why the package lists both.
- One night in hospital: fluid balance and drainage after Lipo 360 are monitored overnight; scalp dressing is checked the next morning.
- Compression garment vs. grafts: the garment is stepped into from the feet up and never pulled over the head, so nothing brushes the implanted area during the first 10 days.
- Sleeping position: on your back with the upper body raised. This protects the grafts and reduces abdominal swelling at the same time - the single position that suits both procedures.

Who This Package Is Planned For
The bundle works best when both problems are moderate rather than extreme. Typical candidates:
- Men with a receding hairline or crown thinning who also carry stubborn fat around the waist and lower back that training has not shifted.
- Patients with a stable weight over the last six months - Lipo 360 shapes, it does not replace weight loss.
- Non-smokers, or patients able to stop before and after surgery, since nicotine restricts blood supply to both the grafts and the treated skin.
- Travellers who can protect 14 days in Istanbul and the days that follow at home from heavy lifting and gym work.

DHI + Lipo 360 Package: Common Questions
Can DHI and Lipo 360 really be done on the same day?
Yes. They are performed in one 9-10 hour session, with local anaesthesia for the scalp stage and general anaesthesia for the body contouring stage. You stay one night in hospital afterwards.
Will the compression garment damage the new grafts?
No. The garment covers the torso only and is stepped into from below, never pulled over the head. Your nurse fits it for the first time so the technique is clear before you leave hospital.
How do I sleep during the first nights?
On your back, upper body elevated. This keeps pressure off the implanted area and helps abdominal swelling drain at the same time.
When can I go back to work?
The package plans for 14 days before returning to work, with 10-14 days of core recovery. Desk-based work is usually the first thing patients resume.
Is my hair shaved for DHI?
The donor area is trimmed. Depending on the graft number and your existing hair length, the recipient area may be partially trimmed - your surgeon confirms this at the pre-op consultation in Istanbul.
Does the $6,000 price change after I arrive?
