Can Rhinoplasty and Breast Surgery Be Done at the Same Time?
Yes. In this package both are completed in one operation, under one general anesthesia, in a total of 7–8 hours. We start with the rhinoplasty while the surgical field is clean and the patient is freshest, then the team repositions for the mastopexy and implant stage. One night of hospital observation follows, then hotel recovery with daily check-ins.
Two conditions decide whether we approve the combination: total operating time must stay inside the 7–8 hour window, and your bloodwork, BMI and cardiac clearance must be normal. Smokers are asked to stop at least 3 weeks before surgery, because nicotine affects both nipple and skin-flap circulation and nasal healing. If the breast plan needs an anchor lift plus large implants and the nose needs open revision work, we split the procedures into two visits instead of forcing one long session.
Practical side of a combined recovery: you sleep on your back, head elevated, for roughly 3 weeks — a position both the nose and the breasts need anyway. Nasal splint and tapes come off around day 7, at your pre-flight check. No lifting above 5 kg and no gym for 4 weeks. Can you get breast implants and rhinoplasty at the same time?
Yes, when total operating time stays around 7–8 hours and your pre-op tests are clear. We do the nose first, then the breast lift and implants, under one general anesthesia with one night of hospital observation.
Does combining the two surgeries make swelling or bruising worse?
Bruising patterns are independent — nasal bruising around the eyes and breast bruising follow their own timelines. What changes is fatigue in the first 3–4 days, which is why we keep you in Istanbul with daily contact instead of sending you home early.
Can I sleep on my side after the operation?
No. Back-sleeping with the head elevated for about 3 weeks protects the nasal dorsum and keeps pressure off the implant pockets.
Who is not a candidate for the combined procedure?
Patients needing revision rhinoplasty plus an anchor lift with large implants, active smokers who cannot stop 3 weeks before surgery, and anyone with uncontrolled blood pressure or clotting risk. In those cases we plan two separate visits.
