Yes. Your initial consultation with our patient coordinators and the review by our surgical team is 100% free, confidential, and comes with no obligation. We provide this service to help you understand your options clearly before you make any decisions.
How quickly will I get a response after submitting the form?
Our international patient team, fluent in English, is dedicated to providing prompt service. We are located in the EET time zone (Istanbul) but we monitor inquiries 24/7. You can typically expect a personal response within 12-24 hours or much sooner via WhatsApp.
Who will be reviewing my photos and creating my quote?
Your photos and goals are reviewed directly by our specialist surgeons, including our founder Dr. Akif Mehmetoğlu. This is not a quote from a salesperson; it is a genuine medical assessment used to create your personalized treatment plan.
Is my personal and medical information secure?

What kind of photos should I send for an accurate assessment?
For the most accurate assessment (e.g., for a rhinoplasty or facelift), we recommend clear, well-lit photos of the target area. Please include one from the front, one from the left profile, and one from the right profile. All photos are 100% confidential.
What is included in the "all-inclusive" price quote?
Your personalized quote will clearly itemize everything. Typically, our all-inclusive packages include the surgeon’s fee, all hospital and anesthesia costs, 5-star hotel accommodations, VIP airport and clinic transfers, and your dedicated English-speaking patient host.
Why is plastic surgery in Turkey so much cheaper than in the US?
This is the most common and important question. The price difference is not due to lower quality surgeons, materials, or facilities. The primary reasons are economic:
- The favorable USD to TRY exchange rate significantly increases your purchasing power.
- Lower operational costs (such as clinic rent, staff salaries, and insurance) compared to the US.

Furthermore, many, like our doctors, are also members of international societies (like ISAPS) and have European Board Certifications (EBOPRAS), which is the European equivalent of the US boards. Will the surgeon I consult with be the one who actually performs my surgery?
Yes, absolutely. At AKM Clinic, this is our non-negotiable principle. The surgeon who reviews your photos, creates your medical plan, and conducts your final in-person consultation—Dr. Akif Mehmetoğlu—is the surgeon who will be performing your procedure from start to finish. We are not a “factory” clinic; we provide a dedicated, one-on-one, surgeon-led experience.
How are complications handled, especially after I return to the US?
Your safety and long-term results are our priority. 1) Before you fly, you will have multiple post-op check-ups with your surgeon. 2) After you return home, your dedicated patient coordinator remains your 24/7 point of contact via WhatsApp and email for a full year. We schedule regular virtual follow-up appointments with your surgeon. In the very rare event of a complication, we will provide full medical guidance, coordinate with your local US doctor if needed, and have clear policies for revision procedures.
How do I know the patient reviews and photos I see are real?
We encourage you to check our reviews on independent, third-party platforms like Trustpilot and Google Reviews. Furthermore, during your private consultation, we can share (with patient consent) a wider gallery of before-and-after photos that are relevant to your specific goals and body type, which we often cannot post publicly due to patient privacy.
